I don't think it is fair to ask from the breeder to restitute the money. They have done all they could for that moment. We will test the stud and that's all we can do. I,m sure the breeder will test their dogs in time.

SO let me get this straight... you do not intend to test any of your dogs, because you have so much breeding experience, but everyone else should test their dogs??

dobermanns arn't the only working breed with DCM cardiomyopathy boxers carrie the same mutated genes as dobermanns it was #17 gene.

American veterinary cardiologist Kathryn M. Meurs has discovered a mutant gene in the boxer breed of dogs which causes arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy or ARVC. Large breeds of dogs are often susceptible to either form of cardiomyopathy: Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) or ARVC, which can both be fatal.
