Hey all,
I was wondering what you do for your vWD positive dogs when you are performing bite sports. Is there anything special you do for their teeth and gums?
Thanks,
Cassie

If you are experiencing bleedings from gums and teeth, your dog might be a vWD affected + symptomatic. The only form of medication I have heard of, and which might help, is a hoemepathic fluid, given oral (a few drops) and which some vets also use prior to operation when they either don't know the vWD status of the dog, or might be operating on an affected dog. Try asking your vet if he has access to this. I know it's rather cheap and should from what I have heard work to some estinct.

Thanks Bitten! I have not experienced issues with her teeth and gums, it was just a random question...
