Hi, I'm Doug Matson from Kansa Dobermans, Wichita, Kansas USA. I have bred and shown Dobermans since the mid-70s and dabbled in schutzhund off and on since then as well (worked with my first club in 1976). Unfortunately, in all of that time we have only had one experienced person locally to work with for a short time, so we have always been a group of bumbling novices. The nearest experienced clubs to work with are 150-200 miles away. I have a show line Italian import bitch (Prima Donna dei Nobili Nati) that has more talent than I have. She has had her BH or a year and a half and I am hoping to get a 1 on her in the Spring, but I travel frequently on my job and that is a hinderance as well. Because of my handicaps, I have a young AKC Champion bitch with Wendy Schmitt for training so that I can get her titled in a timely manner.
I am a licensed conformation judge and have judged Doberman(n)s on 5 continents. I have been to many shows around the world and some working trials and ZTPs.

Hi there, Doug. I'm sure many of us here share in the same troubles from time to time. There are NEVER enough good helpers to go around, are there? Good luck on getting your girls titles!
