Hi guys!
My name is Val and I'm in Texas.
Ive had my own doberman for the last 7 yrs and was raised around them for most of my life.
I have a 9ish yr old Female Doberman "Shyla" who is my pound puppy. And my pride and joy a 2yr old male Dobie "Revan"I'm also owned by a min pin AKA the pet rock "Ryland" who is 9yr old.
I did some basic obedience stuff with shyla over the years and really got into it when i got my puppy. Revan has his CGC, CD and his RN so far - we were trying our luck at agilty but its slow going " someone doesn't care for the dog walk" and we are turning our attention to the possibility of some protection work. ( my husband really wants the dogs to do this) Anyways just wanted to say hi and this looks like a great forum I'm just here to learn all i can about training and the breed ( for future dogs - in the next few yrs ill be looking for a nice working euro dobie)
