Has anyone passed this test? I've just learnt about it recently. There is no one who has any experience with this test here in Ukraine, so I decided to turn to your thoughts. I would be really grateful, if you could clear up some moments about it! In the Circular 55/2011 from 30/06/11 there are GUIDELINES FOR THE INTERNATIONAL UTILITY DOG TRIALS AND THE INTERNATIONAL TRACKING DOG TRIAL OF THE FCI with the rules for Article Indication Trial (p.p. 122-125). But they don't say which command should be ordered before sending the dog to search? How is the process of identifying the article going, especially if the article are put by a stranger? Should a dog smell the article before it is put in the indication area? Should it be any age from the time the articles are put in the area? How should the article be put in the area: in the track where people went or just wherewhere... be thrown anywhere?.. Sorry for these questions - I hope you will help me with these regulations! They really new for me! Thank you!

www.dvgamerica.com/Stober.pdfThis is a link to the StP. rules. If you have any questions ask away and I'll do the best I can to answer. I put the first StP.1 on a Rottweiler here in the US and probably the only StP.3 on a Rottie here in the US.

Thank you so ever much!!!
May I ask you how it is possible to teach a dog to smell all area sequentially without prowling? Or will it come with the experience development? My dog passed FH1, she has an experience how to work with her nose, but at searching she is too fussy. If you could recommend any ideas!..
