Hi all, My name is Jessica Wilcock. I have had Dobermans for 16 years. I started out in agility and flyball, and progressed to conformation, obedience, tracking and finally schutzhund, which is by far my favorite. I have handler/owner/trained a Dobe to IPO1, and currently have a german import Gina vom Warringhof who is 20 months old that I hope will be my SchH3 dog. I have bred two litters using the 'Talent' kennel name- trying for dogs that could be AKC CH and SchH titled. Got AKC champions, and got the IPO1 dog, and many who have been very successful in agility and obedience, but nothing that could do both conformation and schutzhund successfully (ie title). LOL! Gina has been a real eye opener for me- as to what a working Dobe can be like. By day I am a small animal veterinarian- I have been practicing for 12 years. My special interest is canine reproduction, I do a lot of surgical inseminations, c-sections, fertility issues, etc. I am also a DPCA ROM Evaluator- I was approved in 2004. My husband Mark Gomersall is the training helper for both the Greater Seattle Schutzhund Club and the West Coast German Shepherd Schutzhund Club in B.C. Although he started in Dobermanns, he now has GSD <sigh> Love the new format Vadim!
