Cross post from Working Dog Forum -Sharon Bank
I am happy to announce the dates for the Second Annual Working Dog Seminar featuring Paul Cipparone being held outside of Pittsburgh, PA in SW Pennsylvania on June 24 - 26, 2011. I was in attendance at the first seminar last year, and it was a huge success. Last year we had an even mix between herders and molossers, and we are expecting a similar mix this year.
For those of you who don't know Paul, he has been actively involved in dog training for 37 years. He currently owns and operates the Wellington County School for dog training and security service dogs. Paul was among the founding directing members of the American Ring Federation (ARF) in 1986 and has served on the Board of Directors of the North American Ring Association (NARA) for ten years. Paul has titled numerous dogs to Ring III and Schutzhund III. Paul is a trial licensed judge for the United Kennel Club: Service Dogs of American Working Dogs and K9 Pro Sport Working Dogs.
Paul will cover elements of French Ring and Schutzhund, to include tracking, obedience and protection. A meet and greet is scheduled for Thursday night, June 23rd, and then training begins Friday, June 24th through Sunday, June 26th. There is a limited amount of space for working dogs. If you are interested in a working slot, please register as soon as possible to reserve a slot. Auditors are also welcome. You can register for a 1-day slot, or the entire 3-day weekend. Continental breakfast and lunch are provided.
Online registration is available at:
canineconceptspgh.com/Events.html
There is also additional information at the above link, including a copy of the brochure. Note that the brochure currently lists the dates in July instead of June. I am asking Tom Gross of Canine Concepts Pittsburgh to correct the brochure, as the correct dates are June 24 - 26, 2011.
I hope to see you there!
