Hi guys, glad to be here and thanks Von for inviting me. I'm Shadowlands and have a 14 week old Dobe bitch, 11 year old GSD/Rotti mix dog and a 6 year old Border collie bitch. Von suggested I come and play with you guys as he was tired of all my incessant questions. LOL! I am interested in learning more about Szh as well as the Euro Dobe, as that is the direction I am looking to go in with my next Dobe. Can't have just one now can we? I am a trainer and have experience with all breeds in obedience as well as behavior modification but always find I have something to learn. I recognize I have plenty to learn yet about all this, and that is why I am here. Thanks for having me and Von, thanks (again) for inviting me, Shadowlands

Welcome from Toronto! Where did you get your puppy from? Have you visited any of the sch.H clubs yet in the area?

I am from St. Catharines and yes, I have visited one of the local clubs here. I was interested before, but after watching them up close and personal, it gave me the bug. I just want to be sure I am getting the right animal for me and this sport, which is why I am trying to soak up all I can. My pup is from Alabama (poor thing flew up here in a snow storm) she is from Crestline-Skylocke & Panama breeding with Matrix V Dunav Stam (Yugo) as her great-great-dam's sire. There is a lot of longevity in her lines which is great. Thanks guys for the warm welcome.

Welcome, and hope you follow through with a good club. You can start with any dog. As your understanding of the sport grows your knowledge of temperament and working drives will as well. Even if you are an experienced trainer. At that point you will have a deeper understanding of what you want in a your future Schutzhund prospect. Have fun.
