I've come to this forum through a link on DT because I'm a huge fan of the working lines and would prefer a working line in my next dobe (a long way down the track as I currently have a rescue dobe and after him will take a break whilst I work out what state/country I will settle in). Of course there's no harm in me getting a dose of working eye candy and following the progress of kennels I like in the interim My Second Dobermann (Joelfield Mikko "Damon/Daims") was from a superb working line and as he was such a fabulous dog, I want more of the same. I currently have an RSPCA rescued dobe (MidniteMyth Harley "Zillah") who is battling some liver/gallbladder issues at the moment, but what he lacks in conformation/health/breeding he makes up for in personality. I am going to be devastated when I lose him too. I find it frustrating that working dobes (and their training/trainers) are so frequently misunderstood and villified by those who have never had close contact with them so I expect to enjoy this forum as a refreshing change to the norm. cheers Dianne Tasmania, Australia (ex-Victorian) Attachments:

Welcome aboard, Dianne, from sunny (yet currently cold) Florida! I'm sorry to hear of the current health issues you are facing with your rescue boy, but, hope that both of your lives are filled with joy and love!
