Gender of the buyer has NEVER been an issue for us in regards to puppy buyers. Adult dogs are another story however. Also, those who say they will 'work' the pups are no longer a priority as too many of those people are never heard from again. Therefore, for us anyway, I look for appropriate homes for my pups to enter where they can grow up to do the job that they were bred to do. Protect their human packs! I guide and coach as best I can for those that don't/can't get involved in local clubs. So far, everyone has been happy, so, I guess we're doing something right. Each breeder has their own list of requirements that they look for. Some change with the individual pups as well. There is no 'stock' set of requirements that I am aware of that we all follow. Do I want all of my pups worked and titled? Of course I do, but, that's not being reasonable. That's why we keep a few to title ourselves while younger and still able to transfer to a new pack after that. Sorry I can't answer your question any better, but, it's all up to the breeder and the pups they are considering for that individual buyer.

Age? Certainly not a minor, but, other than that, I guess it just depends on the knowledge and overall mentality of the prospective buyer. Some are mature at 20, others are still childish at 60. It all depends on the individual situation I suppose. I've never discriminated against age, race, gender, etc...
