Terve, our family consists of myself, my wife, two young daughters and our first (but not last...) dobermann Salsa aka "The nasty but gentle Bitch". Salsa will turn 10 next summer and she has been retired from schutzhud training since autumn 2006 due to neck problems. During those five years of training we did learn a lot and achieved also some of our goals. We live in downtown of Helsinki, the capitol of Finland. Actually pretty close to the location of this web camera: www.portofhelsinki.fi/default.asp?docId=12876 . There's always been and also will be much more in our life than just training dobermanns but I'm always willing to learn from anyone as also willing to give some new fresh layman's ideas whenever possible. PS: "Terve" is one of the ways of saying hello in Finnish. Perhaps not the easiest to pronounce for a non-finnish speaking person...

Hannele, the owner of Salsa's sire and grandma mentioned she did like the way Salsa stopped the decoy in Munich 2005 so I browsed thru our video archive and found the escape snapshot. If also you like to see the sequence please click on the web page link in my profile. Cheers PS. You may need to install a Flash Player in order to watch the video.
