Newbie from NorCal

Hi All!

I found this forum through DobermanTalk and I hope to learn a lot from all of you. I am looking to participate in Schutzhund with my 20 month old bitch, Kayla. I haven't found a club to work with yet, but hopefully soon I will find the right one.

I am also owned by another Dobe (Lukas, 3 yrs, Red male) who is our cuddly couch potato and a bossy little Yorkie named Sophie (4.5 yrs).

Welcome to the forum. I live in Nor Cal and you will find there are a few of us working folks scattered around up here if you post were you live maybe we can give you some direction on where to look for training.

I live in Fremont, so I'm close to the Menlo Park club, but currently I am looking into the SJ club. I will be having an evaluation soon, then I will decide how I will move forward. Any advice or suggestions you have for me just starting in this sport would be greatly appreciated!!

BTW, Kayla comes from von Luka Dobermanns. Erynn has been immensely supportive not only as a breeder but also as my SchH guide. Frankly, I don't know where I'd be without her.
