Greetings all,
I have sat and wallowed in self pity for the last week, and it is time to move forward. I have always been of the belief that you put your money where your mouth is.
I will give a keeper trophy, and plaque on a memorial trophy as well as a cash prize to the first dobe to finish what we started.
$500 cash, keeper trophy and first entry on the Riker Memorial Ring 2 Trophy to the first dobermann to obtain both french ring 2 legs in Canada or the USA.
$1000 cash, keeper trophy and first entry on the Riker Memorial Ring 3 trophy to the first dobermann to obtain both legs of french ring 3.
However... If I should be able to get a future dobermann to ring 2 or 3 before anyone else, the cash prizes will be lowered by half ($250 for the next ring 2 dobermann and $500 for the next ring 3 dobermann).
To be eligible a photocopy of the dogs valid CRA or NARA scorebook showing the qualifying scores must be sent/emailed to me. Once it has been verified the trophy and cheque will be sent out.
I will also send out keeper trophies and add entries to the Riker Memorial Trophy for any other dobermann's that pass the ring 2 and ring 3 levels in Canada or the USA from here forward. Once again a copy of the dogs scorebook showing qualifying scores will need to be forwarded to me.
Feel free to give this the widest distribution, authorization to cross post allowed.
Any comments or concerns can be addressed to myself at:

Tamara,
Like I said on the Working Dog Forum: Included previously untitled Dobermanns to a MR II/III and I might give it a try. Just no French Ring Club in Colorado and no interest in starting one ;(

Tamara, Like I said on the Working Dog Forum: Included previously untitled Dobermanns to a MR II/III and I might give it a try. Just no French Ring Club in Colorado and no interest in starting one ;( My goal with this award it to have dobes go where they have not gone before. There have already been a couple of mr 2 dobes and even a mr3. But there has never been a fr 2 or higher dobe in North America. I understand the issues surrounding french ring and its training, believe me! I understand how hard it is to get to and how much technique is involved and how the decoy is integral to the training. You are preaching to the choir here. I want to see more dobes succeed in french ring and this is the way i decided to try and motivate ppl. I wish you the best of success with your dog(s) in mondio!
