Jährliche Herzuntersuchung (Kardiotest: Ultraschall oder/und 24-Std.-Holter-EKG) muss für alle Zuchttiere verpflichtend gemacht werden!
Please sign this petition to the FCI and IDC requiring a yearly heart exam for all Dobermanns used for breeding. Clinical studies show over 50% of all Dobermanns are affected with DCM (Dialated Cardiomyopathy), a fatal, late onset (average age 7 years), AUTOSOMAL DOMINANT inherited disease. Unfortunately there is no broad genetic test currently available, leaving Holter and Echocardiogram the best methods for disease detection in dogs that appear healthy.
