Hi my name is Gaby and my Doberman came from Munich Germany 3 month ago. His name is Ramirez Von Marosk ( Tschet Graf Mon-Ja-Mes x Flair Opus Me um) he just turned 6 month old November 13Th.We had two Dobies before one came from the same breeder,so we are familiar with this amazing dog.My grandfather had two Dobies in the 60s and that's when I fell in love with the breed. Ramirez is not clipped or cropped this is regulation now in Germany. I love this new look, and the Doberman has not lost it's good looks or grace the sad thing is I want be able to show him because AKC does not accept this new look. This is very sad I hope this will change over the next few years. We live in Ocala and hope I be able to train him here. If anyone knows of a place were we can train him please let me know. I hope we make lots of friends here......

Gaby
Welcome to the Forum. I too prefer the natural look. Flann is docked but not cropped and Arya is all natural. I'm in Colorado. You can actually show an all Natural Dobermann at any AKC venue. You will have a very hard time getting an AKC Conformation Championship with an all natural Dobermann but there have been several uncropped dogs that are AKC Champions. Personally I think that Schutzhund/IPO, Ring Sport, Agility, Obedience, Rally, Dock Diving, K9 Nose Work etc. etc is a whole lot more fun then prancing around a show ring ;-)

Hi Gaby. I am just north of Ocala and also have 'natural' dobes. You can show natural in UKC events also. Feel free to call or email me and I can get you in touch with groups to work with in many venues. Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new pup!!! dede@dourdenkennel.com
