Lot of mistakes on it though lol...Belgium and Finland are competing for Austria according to the site...Also Ludek Silavky is competing with a dog but at the same time IS the dog of another handler LOL...

I very much wanted to go but the cost this year was just to much. $2800 just for the dog and me to fly + car + hotel= $5000. Just not in the budget this year, maybe next year. I hink Europeans forget how much it is for us to fly over plus the dollar=Euro is very bad for us. Good luck to all the competitors though....wish I were there.

I do agree it's expensive. Even if you don't have to cross the Atlantic, it adds up.
Maybe there could be a fundraiser. I remember we did something like that for Butch once. I still have the T-shirt and I love it. I think the Dobe community and other friends would support that.

I was in Italy for work (training) a few months ago-- grrrrr, would've been awesome to check out. If anyone goes or know anyone- please take pics. Its a beautiful area and has tons of history to it as well.
Curious if the IDC was ever here in the US?

I was hoping to be able to go too, not sure with the expense though. Elischa made up my mind for me when she needed surgery this spring so I am wishing all the dogs, especially her brother, good wishes.

Do you get no financial support of your clubs???
You have a few good Dobermanns who are worth to be presented to the IDC.

Ok a little update The weather is quiet hot and the trackin will be on very short dry gras..They told me that normally the fileds should have been cut a few weeks ago but due too the weather conditions that wasn't possible so probably the tracking will AGAIN be a slaughterfield LOL
Comet von Burghof is in AWESOME condition so he's one of my favourites.
Tommorrow official intraing so we'll see more..
