Yes you let the pst on for 4-5 days 24/7, means he also will sleep with it. but smell those ears, if they smell funny, you need to take the post of right away and clean the ears. if you have problems to take the tape of, soak it in babyoil and wait for around 5 minutes, it will slide of, without pulling the hair of. the clean with rubbingalcohol and let them dry and airout. You also have to take the posts of, if the get wet, because your puppy can easily get a infection. Check out the link, its not so hard to post the ears on your own. I don't know if your vet has experience, so i woryy a bit about his posting ( i could be wrong), but thats why i asked for pic's of the posting, it really would help to see what he and how he did it. i'll look and post pic's of my girl when i posted her, so you get an idea how it should look like if you need any help, you als can PM me.

Thanks for all your help. The vet also showed me how to place a small piece of cardborad between the ears if they begin to angle toward on another. Is that something that you guys recommend or have done or do?

please check out the link, then you see how to post ears, in the beginning you can use a bridge, but later on i wouldn't do it anymore. Make sure the ears are posted in a 11a clock to position. The ears should look like that \ _ / when they are in their post and still wait for pics to see what your vet did and how he posted
